Probably the best and easiest Jeep upgrade that one can do to your Jeep is to install a Skyjacker suspension lift kit or the new Rugged Ridge ORV suspension lift kit. Jeep suspension lifts enhance the appearance of your Jeep as well as giving you that extra ground clearance for off-roading.
Simple installation of a set of Warrior 1 1/2" greasable shackles can give you an extra 3/4" ground clearance. Add a Skyjacker lift kit and you end up with the ground clearance you need for the off road obstacles. Skyjacker lift kits are available from a modest 2" lift to an extreme 10" lift for the serious off-roader.
Maybe all you need is a set of Monroe Sensa-Trac heavy duty gas shock absorbers or a set of Skyjacker Softride Hydro shocks to smooth out your ride for comfort and control.
The Jeep Cherokee XJ and Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ are quickly becoming a new favorite for off-roaders. They are becoming more abundant and affordable and, with a lift kit, these vehicles take on a whole new look. Skyjacker lift kits allow you enough room to run 31" tires.
